History
Haworth & Nuttall began practising in 1877 at 7 Lord Street West in Blackburn where we still have an office.
In 1984 Haworth & Nuttall merged with Gilchrist Warburton to become Haworth, Nuttall and Warburton. Amalgamations with Riley & Co. in 1993, Whitaker Pratt & Hudson in 1999 and Wilkinsons in 2003 have built the Haworth & Nuttall of today.
We are now a specialised practice, especially in the commercial field. But we have stuck to our roots and still offer advice and assistance with general legal issues like conveyancing, family law, and personal injury.
The increasing complexity of the law has seen us employ experts in specific areas. We have specialists in private and commercial law who deal with an extensive range of cases including commercial litigation, commercial property, corporate issues, domestic conveyancing, family law, personal injury, wills and probate and employment law.
Over the years we have expanded from our original office in Blackburn to additional premises on Strawberry Bank in Blackburn, Cannon Street in Accrington and Bancroft Chambers in Great Harwood.
