Expertise….
Peter is experienced in all aspects of probate matters, including acting on behalf of Executors of Estates and all issues relating to Wills and Probate. He also handles the preparation and administration of trusts. He is also involved in domestic conveyancing including buying and selling of property on behalf of all types of private clients together with any other non-contentious property matters.
Background…
Peter attended Manchester University before completing his Articles with Brand and Co where he qualified in 1976. Peter then worked for Rowlands in Manchester and Keogh Ritson in Bolton before joining Haworth & Nuttall in 1988 where he became a partner in 1990.
Peter enjoys walking, cycling and travelling, and watching cricket and rugby. He is interested in 20th century history and is a keen member of the St John’s Church in Bromley Cross, Bolton.
Peter is married with two children.
A typical day…
“Following my first coffee of the day, I check my e-mails and post and respond accordingly. The rest of the day is spent seeing clients, making and returning telephone calls, attending appointments and preparing documents and research.”
First day at Haworth & Nuttall….
“My first day was a long time ago but I remember the whole office stopped for tea breaks at 11.00.a.m and 3.00.p.m when everybody congregated in the general office. I also recall that the firm took delivery of its first fax machine much to the amazement of the staff. That same fax machine is still going strong in my office at home!”
