Andrew Dilnot: ‘Elderly care costs to be capped at £35,000′

A cap on the amount people pay for care in old age should be set at £35,000, Andrew Dilnot, the head of an independent commission has said.
Mr Dilnot said the cap would provide “peace of mind” in an era of longer life-expectancy where people felt “powerless” to plan for high elderly care costs.

We are proud to announce that Marge Parker our Receptionist limped into work following her midnight Half Marathon last week.
Having stocked up with plasters Marge finished the 13.1 mile course in a record 5 hours (personal best) and with the support of her colleagues raised £230 for St Catherine’s Hospice.
